This course covers basic, intermediate and advanced knowledge.
Information Technologies (IT) are tools that facilitate the administrative processes associated with educational management.
The computing resources can contribute to the sustainable development and improvement of school management and innovation. The TI can help the management models to achieve better results for the school.
Use of techniques and basic and intermediate level tools provided by MS Excel productivity tool that enables data management and decision making. Finally, transmit knowledge of IT and organizational change.

At the end of this course the student should be able to:
 
  • Apply the knowledge and skills developed in the computer application in the management of educational institutions;
  • As part of the management activity, be able to deploy, integrate and manage information technology in schools, through an integrated vision to promote excellence and the transformation of institutions;
  • Propose processes related to economic and financial management of infrastructure, applications and IT services in Educational institutions;
  • Be able to use the MS Excel worksheet in the field of analytical tools, data processing and management.

Evaluation is made on individual basis and it involves the coexistence of two modes: continuous assessment (60%) and final evaluation (40%). Further information is detailed in the Learning Agreement of the course unit.
