This course unit aims at allowing students to learn to think like an economist.
The systematic rigor of the course unit's plan assumes always, as the learning project it is, the growing interest and intuition of the student, which should become able to discover the "power" of applying economic analysis tools to different daily life situations.

Students should develop competences in the analysis and understanding of economic reality within organisations. The structure of productive and sector activity is the fundamental framework of a degree in management in the workplace. In this course unit, students can become aware of various forms of economic organisation, and acquire, based upon economic perspective, competences for adapting to new realities and to manage resources more efficiently.

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final exam (100%).
