This master's degree results from a partnership with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Nova University of Lisbon (FCSH-UL) and its main objectives are: deepening knowledge in the field of teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL); promoting digital literacy and intercultural communication by focusing on the two aspects that constitute the greatest challenges faced by society and schools in recent times: the increasingly multilingual and multicultural dimension of societies and the evolution of new technologies; discovering new teaching methodologies and promoting the continuous training of teachers of English as a foreign language.

The total number of credits to obtain the Master\'s degree in English Language Teaching is 90 ECTS, distributed over 3 semesters. The first two correspond to the curricular component, consisting of 6 Curricular Units (5 mandatory and 1 free option) as specified in the table above, corresponding to a total of 60 ECTS. The semester of the 2nd year of the course is dedicated to the preparation of the Dissertation or Project Work, to which 30 ECTS are allocated.
