The main goal of this curricular unit is to study subjects related to petrogenesis and orogenesis. It is also an important goal the study of great geological units of Portugal.

4. Plate Tectonics

Capacity to identify the internal geodynamic processes; capacity to identify and characterize the great Portuguese geological units.

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final exam (100%).
