The course unit French IV corresponds to level B2 defined by the Council of Europe in the Common European Framework of Reference:
• I can understand extended speech and lectures and follow even complex lines of argument provided the topic is reasonably familiar.
• I can understand most of the news and other informative programs on television.
• I can understand most of films that use standard language.
• I can read articles and reports concerning contemporary problems in which the writers adopt particular attitudes or points of view.
• I can understand contemporary literary prose.

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). 

To enrol in this course unit, students are required to have knowledge of French at Level B2, according to the CEFR for languages.
