French II
The course unit aims to achieve the following objectives:
• To ascertain the level of already acquired skills and vocabulary.
• To ascertain the level of already acquired skills and vocabulary.
• To carry out activities directed at specific skill areas.
• To apply appropriate linguistic norms and registers to a range of specified contexts.
• To perform tasks by applying skills of a "social agent".
• To discover aspects of the French culture that can be applied to those of the home culture.
The curricular unit French II corresponds to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for the Languages, as defined by the European Council:
•I can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
•I can understand the main point of many radio or TV programmes on current affairs or topics of personal or professional interest when the delivery is relatively slow and clear.
•I can understand texts that consist mainly of high frequency everyday or job-related language.
•I can understand the description of events, feelings and wishes in personal letters.
• I’ll be an elephant

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%).
B1 level knowledge of French, according to the CEFR, is a pre-requisite for enrolment.
