1. To develop the capacity to apply theoretical themes emerging within the scope of International Law and Politics, namely the new themes related with the processes of European Union governance and intervention, according to the scientific debate within European Studies - political branch.
2. To develop the capacity to analyze the themes theoretically and scientifically, especially the issues pertaining to the political-institutional organization of European countries and of the European Union.
3. To develop knowledge within the area of International Law and Politics, particularly as regards European organizations, focusing on the study of European Union's institutions (past and present), as well as other international organizations acting within the European space, with special emphasis to OTAN.

Advanced knowledge in the context of Law and International Politics of the leading organizations in Europe.

1. Study of the main institutions of the European union and of others that influence the action of the European states.
2. Analysis of some International Law institutes and regulatory treaties, as well as of general principles of the diplomatic relations and consular relations and of the means of conflict resolution in the International Legal Order with particular emphasis on the most important European issues.
3. Analysis of the main multilateral instruments forming the European Union and the OTAN, as well as of other international institutions whose area of intervention may operate in Europe such as OCDE and some United Nations agencies.
