What is understood by sustainable tourism and associated legislation. Environmental tourism. Environmental certifications (Eco-hotel, Green Globe 21, APCER and Biotur). What is nature tourism. Law framework.Animation in touristic areas. Environmental interpretation used in ecomuseums, observatories and projects or activities without physical facilities. Taking advantage of sports in nature: pedestrian tracks, mountaineering, rock climbing, orienteering, mountain biking, horseback riding, caving, air and water sports. Learning to recognise the potentialities of a zone. Stduy of success cases in Portugal.

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final exam (100%).
