The process of teaching and learning foreign languages and cultures is a complex process that requires a critical, holistic and in-depth view from the teacher. Furthermore, language as an integral part of culture allows the user to have access to integration and in-depth understanding of the cultural productions of a group, increasing the perception of citizenship. At this scientific level, a critical view of the scientific literature that discusses not only the practical process but also the cognitive mechanisms of learning and interpretation of cultural elements will be required. Finally, participants in this seminar are expected to minimize the weight of linguistic-cultural beliefs and prejudices through selected reading, reflection and discussion in order to move on to an opinion based on the scientific demonstration of facts.

The assessment will be carried out through the preparation of a scientific article on a topic chosen by the students, previously discussed with the teachers.
