Computer Engineering Project
The objective of this curricular unit is the realization of a project, at the end of The bachelor's degree in Informatics engineering. In this project, students will apply the knowledge acquired throughout the course, performing a development work with practical applications of recognized utility.

The learning objectives of the curricular unit Projeto de Engenharia Informática is the ability for the student to develop a practical project based upon the competences acquired with the completion of the undergraduate courses of the Licenciatura em Engenharia Informática of the Universidade Aberta.
Given the unique characteristics of this curricular unit, it can be considered that its syllabus is not fixed, but dependent upon the nature of the project developed by each student, based in the syllabus of the undergraduate courses of the degree program.

Tal como indica o nome, a UC de Projeto de Engenharia Informática deve ser realizada no semestre em que estudante termina o curso da Licenciatura em Engenharia Informática, efetuando um trabalho de desenvolvimento de média dimensão, onde aplicará os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do curso. Os estudantes deverão ter concluídas todas as UC do 1º ano e pelo menos 90 ECTS nas áreas científicas de Engenharia Informática e Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação antes de se inscreverem nesta unidade curricular do 3º ano.
