This Curricular Unit allows students to situate and problematize the methodologies of social intervention in the scientific field, in a critical and reflective way, articulating the syllabus contents and the defined learning objectives. Which will provide knowledge and understanding of political and social transformations bearing in mind the various fields of social intervention; the acquisition of analytical skills related to the theoretical fields of coping with the social question; understanding, rationale and implementation of methods, methodologies and alternative and sustainable intervention models

Know the theoretical and practical foundations of social intervention methodologies.

Knowing how to identify and characterize the assumptions of thought and the theoretical, practical and deontological framework of social intervention in contemporary society.

Master the technical-operative, instrumental and ethical-deontological matrix within the framework of intervention theories and methods.

Discuss specific social intervention models appropriate to the scientific domain of the area of knowledge.

The teaching methodology adopted and the defined evaluation process allow the creation of discussion and sharing spaces that allow:

. Acquisition and training of skills in the specificities inherent in the development of social work

. Stimulates the development of critical and reflective thinking around professional responsibilities in social intervention

. Identification of contemporary challenges in addressing the social issue.

 

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final exam (100%).
