This curricular unit continues the study of Latin language in an intermediate level.
The lessons in which the syllabus is divided propose an active work and commitment and are developed to answer to a progressive difficulty level.
Consolidating the previous knowledge of Latin grammar towards an intermediate level, students are to study the Latin literature in the Republic age; the texts will be in prose and verse, according to the textbook and other material provided by the teacher (Catulus, Cicero, Salust, Nepos).
Further reading items are indicated to provide information on Latin literature of this period (poetry, philosophy, biography, and history).
