This curricular unit aims to carry out research work leading to the preparation of a scientific dissertation on a topic in the area of knowledge of the course. The diversity of interests, scientific areas, and professional contexts in which the typical master's students of this MSc are inserted enhances a high degree of openness of the syllabus, and their delimitation and development are monitored by the supervisors.
