This course unit introduces fundamental features for defining and building a business communication process.

  • Identifying basic elements of communication;
  • Describing the phases of the communication process;
  • Applying adequate communication theories to each type of organization;
  • Analysing communication barriers and using interpersonal communication techniques.

3. Communication as a circulatory device of Organizations.
4. The contribution of several communication schools towards the traditional classical model.

It is considered mandatory bibliography one that perhaps is recommended as required reading in the study materials.


Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final exam (100%).
