This course addresses to Information Technology / Information Systems (IT / IS) in society in general and organizations in particular. In this sense, it will be given special attention to the opportunities and problems associated with IT/IS, seeking to enhance the opportunities and minimize the problems. It is given a special emphasis to the opportunities  and threats posed by IT / IS.

It is intended that the students of the course Sistemas de Informação Empresarial:
. Understand various topics of information technology Information systems and their respective effects on society and companies;
. Demonstrate capacity to articulate the various topics covered;
. Apply the concepts learned in practical situations.
