Along this course, the student will acquire the knowledege relative to the B.1 level  (Independant user) of the CEFR:
Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

• Pragmatic, speech, functional, sociolinguistic and lexical resources in order to porduce descriptive, expositive, narrative and argumentative texts suitable to the suggested communicative goals and situations.
• Highly frequency speech marquers.
• Communicative marquers relative to the themes and situations treated.
• Main specificities concerning morphosyntactic and lexical Spanish varieties.
• Temporal, spacial and discursive deixis.
• Lexical and morphosyntactic interferences in the acquisition of the Spanish language by Portuguese speaking students.
• Form and use of elementary grammar units (simple and compound sentences) underlining the contrast between Spanish and Portuguese.
• Ortography and ortoepia.

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%).
