This curricular unit aims to frame the ethics applied in the field of informatics engineering. To identify and apply aspects of computational ethics, analyze these problems in the field of Informatics engineering, as well as identifying, analysing and applying the ethical code of Ethics of ACM/IEEE and the Order of engineers, are some of the goals of this curricular unit.

Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a final digital test, Global e-folio (e-folio G) at the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final exam (100%).
